We guarantee our products and want you to truly love them.
If you’re unsure which product is right for you, we’re always happy to help - email us anytime at hello@sanmargo.com for personalised guidance. Our minis and travel sizes are also perfect for trial use.
Before purchasing, please check the product pages for full ingredient lists, and review them carefully to ensure there are no ingredients you’re sensitive to.
If for some reason you’re not 100% satisfied and it is your first time using the product, and only 1/4 or less has been used, send us back the product and we will refund you the purchase price (excluding shipping fee).
To request a return, simply email hello@sanmargo.com with your order number and the items you’d like to return. Our team will guide you through the process.
30-Day Money Back Guarantee Terms & Conditions
- Our 30-Day Money Back Guarantee is available only to the first purchase of any product from the San Margo website, excluding gift cards.
- Does not apply to products purchased from retailers.
- You can only claim once per product.
- This offer is available to customers in New Zealand and the rest of the world.
- Refund request will only be processed if it was submitted within 30 days of the purchase date and has been acknowledged by our team.
- Refund is at San Margo customer service discretion. Empty products will not be refunded. A refund will not be issued should a product be less than 1/4 full.
- Our 30-day Money Back Guarantee does not affect or limit your consumer rights.

Faulty, Damaged or Broken Items
Please email us at hello@sanmargo.com within 2 weeks of delivery, including your order number, a photo of the item and a brief description of the damage. Please keep our environment in mind, and respect that we only send out replacements if a product is damaged to the point that it is unusable.
Our team will assess the damage and offer either appropriate compensation or a replacement, depending on the severity.
Tracking & Insurance
We recommend using a tracked and insured shipping method for all returns.
Local Returns
For returns from New Zealand, all return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
International Returns
For returns outside of New Zealand, all return shipping costs, along with any duties or taxes, are the responsibility of the customer.
Returning Discounted Items
All refunds will reflect the amount actually paid, including any promotional offers or savings.
If you’re returning part of an order and a discount was applied, your refund will be pro-rated accordingly across the returned items.
Refund Processing Times
Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout.
Please allow up to two weeks for the refund to appear in your account.
Please note: Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
