"Perineal massage can help prepare the area between the vagina and anus (the perineum) for childbirth, making it more supple and potentially reducing tearing. This oil was created with that gentle, sacred space in mind. If tearing does happen (as it sometimes does), you can use the oil post-partum - once the area is healed - for hydration, comfort, and ongoing care. Perineal scar tissue massage may also help ease discomfort with sex, especially if you’ve had a tear or scar from birth."
